Gunung Jerai’s Puteri Mandi Waterfall

More small waterfall. The water is fresh and cold.

Gunung Jerai Forest Reserve is vital to the eco-system of the surrounding areas. It provides "green lung" to absorb industrial by-product such as carbon monoxide.

The waterfall during dry season.

The waterfall is very remote. That is the major reason why it is unknown to the general public. But, it is actually a blessing in disguise. Less people visiting the waterfall means the area will always be clean. There is no garbage at all as compared to Titi Hayun recreational park.

If you are brave enough, swim in the deep pond. There is a possibility to meet face-to-face with a phyton.

Beautiful rock formation. This structure has been there for hundreds of years...

Puteri Mandi waterfall is suitable for extreme sports. If you would like to create new abseiling or rock-climbing record, this is the right place!

Clouds start to surround the peak of Mt. Kinabalu as early as 6.00 am. By 9.00 am, all hikers should have descended to Laban Rata. Nobody is allowed to stay at the summit as winds start to blow ferociously which sweep the area with a terrible force
